Tara has really improved. I'm impressed.

Right, Tara PRASAD (IND) finished one position and 3.54 points ahead of Sofiya FARAFONOVA (KAZ) in the Asian Games SP 9 days ago.

And you know what, I think she will finish ahead of her again today.

That was a great skate from Tara. She is really coming into her own now.

She goes into 4th position.

So, currently two positions and 5.37 points ahead of Farafonova.

Watched the first group while eating in a restaurant, and arrived back home to catch Tara & Nini, great to see they did better than many of the previous skaters!

Nini was holding her lower back after her program though, I hope it's not an injury

Man what do you gotta do to get a Step Sequence Level 3?

A good performance by Xiangyi. I like the opening choreography, as she moves through it with such grace. Love the 3L with the twizzle exit. She comes into the 3S-3T with so much speed. Her spins are good, and I enjoyed her step sequence very much, despite the level 2.

Sofia S. has improved her performance a lot, I think that was the first time I really enjoyed her program

The woman sitting next next to me was going (I presume, it was in Russian) "come on, come on" as she went for the flip and she seemed so happy when she landed it

Chris really enjoyed Sofia Samo, it was indeed a very good skate, so you go girl! Into the 60s!

A great skate from Sofia! A fantastic 3Lz-3T to open, 2A and 3F reeled off really easily too. The tiny relevé on her toe pick in the flying camel is neat. She looks to have a good deal of speed and attack, very positive skating. She keeps eye contact with the audience as well, definitely appears to have presence when seen on the live stream. Good spins throughout, yet another level 2 step sequence, so apparently if I like a step sequence here it's the kiss of death. Takes the lead comfortably and earns a season's best too.
