I do not care for Mr Howarth's opinions and I am the epitome of bias here, but watching live I was wondering about her flip. Maybe the TP should've reviewed my love Chaeyeon's jumps more, sure, but I doubt that they would've found any of her jumps not fully rotated

Also: my love Chaeyeon's brilliance is shown much better live. I only liked her in her first junior season because I didn't get to watch her live (covid reasons) but when I first saw her live I felt such a deep love. Maybe there was a home bias, maybe there wasn't, I don't know, all I know is that Chaeyeon absolutely smashed it.

People are not turning on Chaeyon but on judges....
And not just "people" but even Chris commenting on the official ISU stream did question the way it was judged which is really very rare indeed.,...

Oh no, I loved Chaeyeon and think she should lead over Mone. I just detest the q, and I don't think it makes sense to mark down jumps where you need to get out a magnifying glass and watch on slow mo to really tell. Figure skating is not meant to be watched at 0.5x speed.

I am still sad with my baby Rino's performance, though I can't say I'm that surprised. I was hoping she would finally build her confidence to deliver a clean(ish) SP, but alas I really really hope a fresh new SP next season will fare better for her.

I'm glad I have a jam-packed weekend tomorrow & Sunday, so I can distract myself until the women's free

I agree, this time Chaeyeon over Mone but not sure if almost 3 points lead is ok.

She stepped out of her 3Lo, got a < on her 3T and lost some levels, hence the low scores.

But her performance was great, she kept it up throughout. She was quite shocked to see her scores

Even the most diehard Kim fan has to agree that her getting higher GOE on her 2A than Higuchi is ridiculous. Lol
