The ice dance is going to be a bloodbath although we only know four teams so far. But these four teams are the four best ones right now.

Schedule & Entries are up.

❗The event is taking place is on Sunday and Monday due to November 1st being a working day in Russia.

Some thoughts on the entries.

1) One spot in men's is empty. It was supposed to be Semenenko's. He might be replaced by someone before the event.
2) St Petersburg seems to get a lot of spots this season. I didn't expect, for example, Polyanskiy, to get anything.
3) Another packed stage in pairs. Nice to see. I predicted the field to recover by this season and that's what exactly happened.
4) What on earth is happening to ice dance? Yes, some couples split, but why are the stages not full? Where are Shinkarenko/Antonov, Linchevskaia/Shcherbakov? I hope someone is being added later.

Should be relatively easy stage for Alisik and Sonik, but we never know, esp. as for Sonik's self-confidence.

What happened to Semenenko? Is he injured?

Tuesday (4th November) is a national holiday. In Russia, working days are sometimes moved to get more consecutive days off. In this case, the working day from Monday is moved to Saturday. This results in three days off from Sunday to Tuesday.
Thank you, always interesting to find out about other countries customs.

Akateva WD.
"Health reasons" :(

Kulikova takes the spot.

I missed the whole junior FP today, so had to watch the video on youtube. Tomorrow i will watch live! 6 hours difference ! took note.
