And big result for Ekaterina / Matvey, who take it very calmly like it was of course the expected normal outcome. Big pros out there! Is this their first gold medal? Nice to see skaters from Perm doing well (which is good to diversify skating outside of Moscow / St Petersburg) and they in particular, always looked like a humble and hard-working team so happy they get this boost going into Nats

Not sure. 5'3-5'4? She is about the same as Dina who is noticeably taller than Adeliia who I think is around 5' at this point (same height as Gorbacheva).

We don't have accurate stats on any of these girls so it's all estimation, but I would be really shocked if Daria is over 5'4, so I'm giving Akateva a solid 5'3 max.

Ok I'm downgrading them to 5'2 and 5'3 now considering Gorbacheva is the same height as Adeliia. I can't see Sadkova at 5'4. Adeliia 5' is an absolute max.

Adeliia is 152 cm (just shy of 5') per ISU bio, while Alina's bio has her listed as 148 cm (just over 4'10''). The heights seem to be self-reported, so they might not be 100% accurate, but probably fairly close.

Did Adeliia grow a little? Same height as Gorbacheva now whereas before there was a clear gap.

I think my estimate of 5' is about right. They are definitely around the same height now. So the rest should follow.

Having Adeliia as a metric will be really helpful in figuring out the other girls. Finally!

The hug coordination between Daria and Alisa on the podium Daria quickly learned her lesson and when it was Alina's turn she fully waited for Alina to initiate the move

It made me think of last season's Men podiums where whenever Mark was on the podium, he would coordínate with the others before the ceremony to do among themselves a little welcome gesture to each skater related to their FS programs. It was endearing and gave a very special touch to the ceremonies. And now seeing Daria / Alisa, I got to fully appreciate what his coordination work achieved

Sasha really doesn't want to be there Nastya holds up and even manages some sort of small smiles

And Nastya M / Dimitri are 3rd. I like their outfits too, especially her dress. And look at this, just talking about putting some heart into the award ceremonies, they try and do just that! Bless them and their umbrella I like them, saw a couple of videos with them and they are nice, he seems quite funny actually

Sadkova is 165 at best. In pre season video with Mark Kondratyuk she was about 5cm shorter.

Sadkova does not have 4 inches on Gorbacheva.

Zagi is very short, and the girls she was interviewing might've had skates on. She was interviewing them after the practice session. Using Zagi as an absolute metric is useless as she always has different shoes and you don't know if her skater is wearing skates. It's only useful as a relative reference for two skaters next to her in the same setting.

Sadkova is also not taller here... where are you getting an entire inch? Even though it doesn't matter. It was just a relative perspective between her and Akateva.
