Looking tired, but pushing. She's not going to win, but good for her for giving most of that program a go.

That was decent from Gabby, but she needs a higher TES if she wants the Olympic spot.

awww Gabby. I admire her guts to go for 3lz-3toe but she could save herself so much trouble with the layout she used to do 7-8 years ago when she won a medal at worlds. just do 3t-3t... repeat the lutzes anyway... this layout doesn't help her at all.
and she popped both the loop and salchow...

So much energy in that first combo the rest of the skate was a bit of a struggle. I wish SK would have sent her out more so she had more chances to work on stamina. So nice to see Gabby though, lets hope for a lights out skate at Nationals.

That 3Lz 3T was impressive
But, after going for this combo, you can tell she tires easily.
Still. I think she can score 110+ with her given PCS.
This will be close.

I haven't seen Gabby go for a triple toe on the end of a Lutz for many years - good for her to upgrade! They really need to give her more opportunities to get some exposure and practice these programs on the off chance that she does go to the olympics, because she has definitely proven that she isn't resting on her laurels. The 3lutz said she fell out of was actually over rotated, which is the opposite of the problem most of the ladies in Canada are facing.

Not incredibly impressed despite the hype, to be honest. Not a ton of power and I see future problems with the jumps as she grows, as the technique isn't particularly great and rotation is often a question...

Still, she looks like she gave it absolutely everything and is totally toast at the end!

She was a big tight in the skate, but her skating skills are so good. Hopefully she fixes up some issues before Nationals. She's competed so little in the last few years so makes sense shes rusty
