172, she hit the benchmark and will be Senior eligible internationally next season.

This final group will have to skate pretty well to beat that. Obviously that program wouldn't probably get 117 outside of this event, but still, it's a great mark. And if that is a 117 score, I could see some of these other ladies getting 10 points higher if they skate their best

Man, from the little you can see watching the warm up camera, Gabby looks like a speed skater compared to the rest! It becomes very evident in this context why she was successful at an international level. Wow

Where do you think our Canadian judges gave her too much ? PCS in the 6s. Not much GOE other than on the first combo which was strong.

Fair enough. I thought she did a great job, but just know the international judges tend to be a little more strict. Still, good job for her

yes. unless by miracle Korea releases Minsol in time enough for Canada to send her to get her minimums.
But there is also Victoria Baraktina who is very strong... higher tech content than Megan.

Not bad but did not look as committed to the choreography as she did in the short program where she did a great job of maintaining character and expressing the entire way through. Overall she did look good on the jumps so it's unfortunate that she downgraded the Lutz to a single and the triple toe combo to a double.

I would normally say that would go ahead of megan, just due to Superior skating skills, although I just don't think that's a 117 program. Ice coverage maybe could have been a bit better, didn't really see her use the ends of the rink very much

Unlike the men, the women really seem to be going for their planned content for the most part.
Uliana up... boy do I hate this generic piano type song. It would have been fine in 1998 when it was harder to find music like this, but I feel like AI (or me, lol) could have written this song in 90 seconds...

Aleksa Volkova
Gabrielle Jugnauth
And some in juniors who have potential for junior worlds. (I don't think all the above are in the mix for selection)
