If you ignore the theme of the programme for a moment, this is very daring costume that Maria Pulina (SPB) is wearing. But, at least it is the oldest girl in the group (19) wearing it rather than one of the youngsters.

To be honest, the top part could have afforded to have the material come down a bit further, to let us properly see the gold pattern on it. Because it kinda blended into the illusion mesh too well.

Don't think I have seen a "La Bayadère" programme before. But I really enjoyed it.

She goes into 3rd position.

Well, she used to have a 3A. Not sure if she's still training it, considering her other triples are a little inconsitent now, but it definitely shows.

Eva Zubkova (SPB) is wearing a very simple black dress with pearl necklace stuck to the neckline, and black gloves.

I have always loved this song. And this had the makings of a lovely programme.

Unfortunately, Eva made mistakes.

In the first group of three already two 3A's. Won't see that at the Olympcis. Elisova's skating not at the level of Kamilla but the clean jumps might give her the lead. It will be close. Nice skate.

Elisova slowly feeling more like a senior skater. Evidently focusing on her presentation since Panin.

The thing with Masha (Elisova) is that her jumps have very little flow out of them, so her GOE tend to be quite low. If she can improve that and work some on her PCS, she'd have a significantly higher ceiling than the scores she's going to get here.
