I have mixed feelings about whether or not pair skaters should be judged separately on SBS jumps and spins like dance judges SBS elements. It would help scores especially if one partner has solo jump issues, but the whole point of pair skating is two skaters skating as one. I think the ISU has discussed this and has mixed thoughts as well.

Moskaleva/Rodzyanov good performance but some technical mistakes incl. the fall.

Overall, a fairly good skate for Moskaleva/Rodzyanov. Unusual fall on the 3Lo and, unfortunately, some issues on the throws (which, again, are some of the very best if landed cleanly), but the 3S+2A today was great

Just small level losses here and there while P/Ch skated well. No major mistake. The gap after RD was less than 1. So those slight differences in FD added up.

Just a bit nervy skate. Grades of execution could be higher. He lost a level on the twizzles and the spin.

The joke wasn't about them. Dancers had two falls and quite a few mistakes in the first two groups.

Hard fall but she was almost horizontal in the air. She never had a prayer of landing that. Glad she protected her head from hitting the ice.

I can see arguments either way but it should be consistent across disciplines.

That one seemed like a poor throw from Andrey, though I'm no expert.

No success on the 3T today And while they got the sequence done today, they were so out of synch. The first throw was huge, the second, unfortunately, went very wrong. Still, I cannot help liking this team, there#s just something endearing about them.

SBS jumps shouldn't be scored separately. It would lead to something like 4T+3T easily. The SBS jump must be same jump of the same quality.
