Dina will need to be absolutely flawless to beat Mura considering how she was scored in stages.

Veronika Yametova (MOS) was skating to what was supposed to be viking music, but which got very modern in the second half.

She was wearing a beautiful black dress with gold pattern that did not say "viking" to me.

But, when we put my niggles to one side, she was really good!

Erm, maybe not as good as I thought.

She goes into 7th position in the FS, and 6th position overall..

Good skate for Dina, but will it be enough? Going after Kamilla, Sofia and Nika just highlights the places her PCS have still to develop beyond the Junior level. (And again, her previous program at Jr Test Skates was much better for her style than this, but I digress.)

I'm very curious if her PCS beats Kamila. She needs it to go above Mura.

Well done. I'm not a fan and PCS should be less than Kamilla (of course it will be slightly higher due to her coach), but I'm impressed with how she rotates her jumps so quick, and doesn't let a bad landing phase her or ruin the rest of the program. Strong mind.

Dina Khusnutdinova (TAT) was also wearing a black dress, but this time with red pattern.

I really enjoyed her music.

She is happy. She can't stop smiling.

But, the smile dropped when her scores were announced.

She goes into 3rd position in the FS, and 2nd position overall.

Indeed, she needed to be flawless and the slight issue on the axel took her out.

BTW, Gushchina's PB is half a point under Mura's current score, and that was with a 73 SP. So.....

The second part is music from a group from Galicia north of spain ( tradicional + electronic) .. and with a little of imagination we can say that the dress is more like a elegant version of the group ( they sing that song with suits with black and gold)

I'd have even put her below Kamilla overall, but I knew that wasn't going to happen.

(I did put her in my top 5, but that was mostly based on how everyone else delivered (or rather didn't) this season.)

They really dragged Mura. I don't have a problem with Dina even though she should be behind Kamilla, because they can't rob Dina as well by putting her in the 50's. But Kamilla needed to be a few points higher for PCS. No worse than Kulikova.
