I generally like many Russian skaters' Project Runway costumes: they are more sophisticated, harder to design, harder to produce and cost more.

I love that Anna's in the underdog position right now, it takes the pressure off & it's letting her shine
On the outfit... well, I think any orange, yellow, & red outfit would make people scream 'ugly!'. Even if the dress were edited, those just aren't very appealing colors to go together, even if it is supposed to emulate the look of fire

No, I'm with you. But I can see why people would find her attractive.
Anna is lovely. She has many fine qualities apart from jumping. However with a little polish she will be peerless.

No, Suzuki's coach is Nagakubo who also coaches Hongo.
She is really beautiful but she always looks average or bad in her competitions, bad makeup, bad costumes and hairdo, you can see pictures of her off the ice and she looks stunning

I agree with this as well. Ashley is a stunning girl. She may not be some peoples favorite but there's no denying her obvious beauty.

Please don't take it that way. Many people were raving on and on about her beauty and I simply don't agree. I don't see it. I didn't mean it meanly. Please forgive me if it came off that way. I was daring to venture an opposing viewpoint- not saying she is ugly, but just that I don't find her beautiful. I think Ashley is far prettier. and Satoko will be too when she grows up a little.
It's her blond hair and the sexy Angelina Jolie effect that apparently blindsides the judges.

After last year's "Mermaids" (water) and this year's "Firebird," I expect Anna next year to be reincarnated as an earth or wind goddess.
As for Ashley, I am glad she put the noses of those who want her to retire out of joint with this performance.
Satoko...I must admit that as a Kanako fan, I was previously dismissive of Satoko's chances of becoming the Japanese top female skater this season. But with Satoko's solid performances at Lombardia, JO, and this competition, I think thät the top spot is not a foregone ĉonclusion for Kanako. It will be interesting to see how Kanako fares in the Cup of China later this week.

I think the URs on the solo jumps can and will be fixed. It's the triple toe that's always going to be the question mark. The ! on the flip never happened until this season which is kind of strange, and not even one very flip attempt.

There's a clear difference between tearing a skater down and ripping into what she's wearing.
Pogo's talent is undeniable, but her costume designer and stylist (not sure if they're two different people or one in the same) graduated from the Las Vegas Showgirl School of Tackiness.
