2015-2016 Programs by Discipline

"Another one bites the dust" might be interesting from he Queen album. You'd need to be super expressive though. Vornov?

I was actually listening to "Another one bites the dust" recently and thinking it could be a good program. I was picturing Javier for this one, although it might be too similar to Black Betty.

Thanks to Papadakis Cizeron ice dance becomes artistic and teams are again working on real choreography and not just a succession of elements

Jeff is choreographing 'something rhythmic' for Yuzu's SP.
We'll probably not know what it is till the middle of August or September. There's usually a TV show around that time.
But I'm glad it's going to be Jeff again.

What is the dance style requirement for Short Dance this season? I"m too lazy to look it up, and can't figure it out from the songs selected lol. There are some classic waltzes and then there are some classic rock.

I think it's the ravensburger waltz and couples have to include rhythms such as Foxtrot, March, or Polka.

Samba samba samba arriba arriba?

Wow. Yes, this music for Dice is lovely. I'm starting to get quite excited about seeing him this season. Between that beautiful debut of his short program--with more stretch and line--and this music selection and those 3 quad salchows . . . and Frank's magic.

Interesting how we have at least three piano pieces now among the top men. I remember when it seemed like the men's event was nothing but pounding Matrixes & Gladiators.
