Serafima Sakhanovich just posted this picture with tags #kp - as in korotkaja programa (in Russian) or short program (in English) - and #16ton - that could be her music for sp? Didn't Elena/Nikita dance to 16 ton in Sochi or am I mistaken? Anyway, it could be interesting to see how Sima can pull of a jazzy program.

And this is just my speculation, not the official music choice.

Yuzuru Hanyu SP of 2015-16: He keeps Ballade

he's doing ballade no1 again this season, and his first competition is going to be the autmn classic!!!

Yuzuru Hanyu will keep his Chopin SP but will revert to the original layout he had before his injury, with the quad in the second half etc.

I'm personally very happy about this.

So true about the mix :shocked: (and I of course had to look up Rickie Lee and her song, neither of which I had ever heard of....) Figure skaters do sometimes use some God awful covers too.

I would rather have full-on whiny white guys with guitars, and that's saying something. Or Carmen for the gazillionth time. Oh well.

his SP music is soundtrack of "The Killing Fields" and his FP music is "Johann Sebastian Bach's "Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor.", both programs are choreographed by Davin Wilson, i cant wait to see him at Thornhill Summer Skate few weeks later

The ladies LP from Glacier Falls 2105 is now up on IN. Polina Edmunds is a lovely lady, but IMHO, she is completely wasted with the GWTW theme. Both her skating and the music are a bit one note, the program could be about anything, it lacks a point of view. They could easily change the music to either R&J or the pas de deux from Spartacus, make some choreographic adjustments to suit and her LP would be an absolute hit. She has the SS to pull it off. As it is, the program itself is too repetitive and flat.

Yeah, I thought...does she mean Rickie Lee Jones? I never heard of Ricki Lee or her song either - can't say I like it much. I fear this program might be a little too reminiscent of Elena R.'s JLo program... :disapp: Hopefully it's more 16 Tons and not too much Ricki.
