2015 Worlds Men Free Skate March 28

Yes! What is a quad? A quad is 10.3 points. Lots of ways to get 10.3. But you have to work on spins and steps and PE and tr and goe.
Plus your gut to go against the general criticism. Good job for the two.

Sigh... another year to wait... Hope next year D10 will finally win Worlds and so will Weaver and Poje! Something to look forward to.

I would! His program is superior to both Javi's and Yuzu's, full of details and nuances, well timed to the music. Now I know it's not all about choreography, but I think the PCS is fair among the Top 4. What kind of stuff were the Chinese commentators critical about.... lack of quads?

I disagree.

Nations with 3 spots next year for Men: USA and Brian Orser.

Board needs a 'like' button for this!

And on that note, time to hit the hay, it's 1am in Aussieland. This was fun! Here's to the 2015-2016 season, oh and the World team Trophy before that.

Consider how strong Japan guys early this season, I am really surprised they only get 2 spot next year! It is going to get fierce at home for the 2nd spot.

It's so shocking; however I could see that when third group finished, because I expected Javi's win.
He peaks once a year, and he has been saving his peak for WGP, while Denis, who also peaks once a year, has peaked at four contient, already.
Good job! Javi:clap: I love your K/C reaction.

Someone can explain me the issus of spot ? japan lose their 3rd spot for next year means ?

:laugh2: He doesn't know why he's giving the medals? I missed the ceremony.

I mean he is a former speed skater if I can recall and says loudly he knows nothing about figure skating. If he watched the competition then, he couldn't probably understand a single score.

I am perfectly content with the end results top three, but very sad about Japan losing their third spot. Bet they're regretting not sending Shoma Uno now!

As a fan of Yuzuru, I am a bit sad that he didn't win the title again. BUT...to be honest it was was fair that he got 2nd cause of the falters. But I'm very happy he got a medal.

And as a fan of Jason: WAHOO!!!! YIPEE!!!!! 3 spots for the USA thanks to him and Rippon.

Well, this was kind of a disappointing Worlds for me. :-/

Not me! I'm happy for the men's medalists. I would have had D10 over Hanyu, but other than that, the results were pretty fair. Lots of movement in the standings, lots of excitement. :drama: at Japan losing their 3 spots in men and Russia losing their 3 spots in dance. P/C were awesome champions and saved us from C/B winning (who most agree weren't that great). D/R won on pure difficulty and the Chinese pairs did awesome, with P/T going out with a bronze. Ladies had Liza nailing her 3A in the SP, and a nailbiting FS, with Gold/Wagner/Hongo/Liza/Satoko skating quite well.
