Well that was an interesting Ladies FS. I would have liked to have been a fly on the computer at that tech panel area. The delay in scores tell me they were either scrutinizing everything or they couldn't agree. Mirai certainly got slammed technically but frankly she deserved low marks. Although Evgenia is a wonderful jumper I don't get her program. Something about someone knocking at the door, 9/11 and a phone call? It didn't do much for me. Katelyn's performance was fantastic! She's got a winner vehicle there and she performs it beautifully!Also I think Elizaveta needs to find something other than the Cleopatra, mid-eastern dancer theme. At least she's not wearing those grandma caftan dresses anymore! 
And poor little Miyahara. I'm afraid the judges aren't being as generous to those little jumps anymore. And maybe she needs a more dynamic piece of music to inspire some depth and speed.

Okay that makes sense, even though i'm still not sure about the number of turns to get the level 4.

"A well balanced Free Skating program must contain one Step Sequence fully utilizing the ice surface.
The Competitors have complete freedom in selecting the kind of step sequence they intend to execute. Jumps can also be included in the step sequence. So, I guess, either 1 or 2;
1. she did not utilize the ice surface FULLY.
2. Her step sequence was too short and barely visible. ( I don't think this is her case, though...)
but did she perform like this at the JO and other pre-season event? She got credited then...
did she change her choreo a bit?

it was visible, every jump it was like Mirai was jumping double jumps....
Zhenia easy win, I dont see any threat for her at this moment.
After this shameless overscoring of Osmond, I want Elena and Pogo both get huuuuge scores next week (even with mistakes) above 210

Shamelly overscored was Medva, buddy. The boring repetetive program with syrens and no connection to the "music"-dont be ridicoulous

The ISU Technical Panel Handbook has a chart at the end for "Elements with no value or maximum Level B/1/2/3 in SINGLES SP & FS 2016-2017"
The only thing listed for No Value for Step seqences is "Does not fully utilize the ice surface"
