Congratulations Shoma!!
Highest SP score ever recorded in the Olympics!!!

Haven't perused the pairs yet. It's unfortunate the men were such a disaster (save for Uno, Bychenko, Rizzo, Cha) but at least Team Canada is in a solid position now. It really is the best we could have hoped for since we assumed to have probably been 3rd in men and 2nd in pairs. Here's hoping Osmond can have a solid SP in ladies and V/M should likely take 1st in dance. I still think Skate Canada shouldn't take anything for granted and ensure Chan does the FS (he needs a confidence boost after that SP - and he likely to do better than Messing would) and that V/M and D/R skate both segments. W/P could do the free dance but it's riskier than V/M.
OAR will gain ground in ladies but if Osmond stays within 2 places lower than a Russian, then V/M should cancel it out by likely placing 2 places higher than B/S (maybe more depending on the Italians).
