I completely agree of what you are saying but I'm merely addressing the insinuation that this is somehow unfair to only Anna or T/M regardless of what Sasha or B/K and the other skaters that was left out stands. It really succks and I'm sad that they couldn't distribute that team gold to more skaters but if we talk about fairness of who should get the team gold, this is the best decision by having only the Russian champs have it.I wouldn't say it's unfair but it most definitely is unnecessary und illogical on a sports level and cruel on a human level. There is no need for the Russian lady to blow the rest of the competition out of the water by 50 points Kamila style. Anna would comfortably place first even with a watered down program but not even that can be said as an excuse since she has been looking very good in practice and has never imploded in recent memory. They basically prevent her from going home with an Olympic Gold Medal "just because". And Kamila has nothing to win with this, only a risk of fatigue.
I'm worried too about Kamila especially with the fatigue aspect but knowing that the individual event is exactly a week away, I'm optimistic that she will just be fine.

USFS and Rusfed should give each other tips on bad decision making
