Yay for Lindsay! She was a bit robbed in terms of her SP score. But, this was a good skate. I wonder if it will be enough to squeak into the podium. I’m rooting for Kurakova and it is fun watching Daleman warm up next to the ice rink.
That was a short interval. I thought I would be able to get 2 of the skaters I missed earlier watched, but the skaters came onto the ice halfway through the second programme. I don't like interrupting programmes, so I paused the live stuff and continued on watching Natalia LERKA until she was finished skating.
Consequently, I am now about a minute behind.
My comments are late at the best of times because it takes me a while to type them, but they are going to be even later now!
I was holding back tears with the nerves before Jenni skated. And I was in tears with sadness after she skated.
The pressure got to her. And who would blame her? She hasn't won a competition outside of Scandanavia for nearly 8 years (Junior Ladies at the 2014 Bavarian Open). So, being so close to the leader after the SP would have put a lot of pressure on her.
15th in the FS, and 8th overall.
But, in that performance in the SP, she has shown that she is well on form and she can be a contender for medals. She just has to work on coping with the pressure.
Oh no I thought Maiias quad was only getting stable now And whole of her program was shaky. What is going on with the Russian Girls this season? I hope she is not injured and still skating!
