Samarin's 4Lz was great, but then only a 3-3 combo and 2 footed the backend. Typical Samarin.
He and Sokolovskya have such a good relationship.

Samarin was smart to take out the stupid 4T and just go for a one-quad SP. He’ll score higher with a cleaner skate. That was the best he skated that program so far.

I was going to accuse him of being an imposter because of the tame shirt, but the skating was too good to be somebody else!

I figure Samarin will win since he has the kind of luck to be nat champ and not get to go to Euro or Worlds
