Good skate and she managed to land the 3A, but at the cost of two potentially very significant pops. If Yujae lands the 3A too, she might loose the gold here. Or even if Seojin goes clean.

Nakai has improved on her expression and committed to choreography since last season. Two pops on the back end of her combos, but they weren’t as costly since she landed her 3A. It may cost her the gold, though.

I'm a little disappointed to see they aren't skating in reverse-order this season. It's easier to tell when people drop or move up that way. Oh well.

Interestingly, this music was also used in pairs today. It is a beautiful piece of music, even if the topic of the movie it comes from is a tragic one. Beautiful dress, and gorgeous skating, even with those two jump mistakes. She'd be a skater who would really benefit from having a step sequence in the Free Skate. She will most likely drop off the podium, but will she stay above Elyce or drop below her?

that was a hard fall on the 2nd lutz I dont think this is the free she wanted but she has improved a lot since last season and will continue to improve going forward

She has such a pretty dress too
