I love ponytails in skating, they're so cute 😍
This pale pink looks great on Breken, and her big smile is just wonderful, it makes me want to smile too.

Difficult skate today, just couldn't quite get the timing right on her jumps, but she's a pleasure to watch nonetheless.

Big upgrade jump-wise for Megan, so understandable not everything worked out perfectly on the first try. Still, a sign in the right direction for her.

Once she becomes a bit more comfortable with the jumps and this program, it will be a great vehicle for her, there are already quite a few moments when her personality really shines and jumps out at you. Also, StSq4 (!) if I saw right?

Reese has a great split jump, and some wonderful spirals 😍 I think this is the first time she's done a 3T+3T instead of a 3T+2T, so that's great.

The 3Lz is still a bit out of her reach, but Lutz being the solo jump this season will force her to keep trying, I certainly think she can do it.

Technically very solid, though Uliana - like our current leader Rose - is a very introverted skater. A lot of visual contact with the ice, and a decided lack of visual contact with the audience, I hope we'll see their coaches work on that during the course of the season.

Still, how happy she must be to finally get the chance at qualifying to compete internationally after waiting for so long.

Angelina Grant is truly one of those skaters who could be stars, if they could only hold everything together in competitions.

She has so many good qualities and a wonderful personality on the ice, but the jumps are more often not cooperating with her than they do. 😭

No significant upgrades for Angelina Guan, and while nice and clean was enough in Canadian Jrs for a while, I don't think it is anymore with so many girls attempting (and landing) 3-3s.

Ah, Lulu is a delight. Such an expressive face and so much control over her body right down to the fingertips, so nice and straight in the air on the jumps.

This was a great skate and this is a program that deserves to see the international stage. Bravo

Fee-Ann is such a powerful jumper, maybe a bit too powerful (see popped Axel). She is kind of the Canadian equivalent of Anna Pezzetta, except more emotive, in my opinion.

Another skater who could be a huge star if they could just hold it all together in competitions.

Aww, Lucille's dress is so cute, I love the yellow-orange on her 😍

Super weird fall on the double axel, but good to see her pop up super quickly after and keep going as if nothing happened.
No 3-3 yet, but Lucille is very fresh from novices, so no big deal 💛

Lulu and Uliana were not bad. Lulu had a redemption skate here. I hope she holds it together for the free skate. With the cancelled event last year, she lost her chance to compete at a JGP event. So, I’m really rooting for her.
Uliana… amazing jumps. But, I do have to say…. The rest of the skating is subpar. Under 20 in PCS tells you everything you need to know. However, with her jumping arsenal, I think she should comfortably qualify.
I’m impressed with the overall improvement of our Junior Canadian Girls. The competition feel was just a bit lower to the Junior girls that competed at USA Junior Cup.
