It would make sense for Carol Lane's team to keep them in Jr so they could possibly have both Jr and Sr World Champions with Paul and Piper.

Well, no one can say junior ice dance is as predictable as seniors after tonight…

I’ve got to get some work done but hopefully will be able to join for some of junior ladies. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to catch the free dance live but maybe the final group of men?

Right? Lim/Quan and Bekker/Hernandez are in the same situation, but I don't see anyone complaining about them.
I don't think it's the age per se, but rather being on the podium at Junior World's last year. Regardless, they are age eligible so it's a moot point.

Well this was a great competition with surprise in the results. I think Mrazkova/Mrazek have the best SP, but today wasn’t their best performance. I thought they were much more subdued than they were in the past. Lim/Quan are virtually tied with them and I like the closeness of this team.

Same difference... many teams in the past have gotten a bronze or a silver at worlds and came back to aim higher the following year... recently : stepanova bukin, mcnamara carpenter, the parsons, loboda drodz, carreira ponomarenko... but when a Canadian team does that,... ohhhh la la... the nerve up North...

Maybe it's the same here as with Kao. Bit holding back for better show of skills?

The new judges which should be in for Free Dance are from

Czech Republic
Israel
Switzerland
Turkey

(if said Feds have actually nominated and sent a judge after being "winning" the draw in October)

The draw to decide which of "tonight's 9" will also judge the FD may be crucial given how close it is for various positions.

well i am not counting on that... even before this RD... Piper and Paul, with her appendectomy, who knows how healthy they will be.

Carol can keep forever the pride of having teams winning both finals of JGP and GP the same year.

What do I need to do to insert a Canadian judge in there? (I am just being cynical) :)
