A philosophical question from Kolyada: why do women try so hard on their spins and men don't.

Because men don't have to at some point. For a long time (and also somewhat today), throwing big jumps was enough. Doesn't help that judges are willing to give big GOE to mediocre spins because the rest of the field has even worse spins.

She was way better, like a different level. Even the PCS shouldnt have such a gap. Rewatch the flip and combo. Her flip got less than 1 better than Frolova who didnt even land it properly. Gushchina even did a difficult exit. It actually makes this hard to watch.
