Sinitsyna is one of the best musical skaters ever.

She had some stumbles though on the difficult Step Seq, and some steps did not flow they way they should if they were perfectly executed.

Today? She's getting nice scores since the beginning of the season. Seems like thanks to her consistency, judges are finally seeing her.

Yea she was getting deserved good scores since last season. She isnt usually overscored. Today she fudged the flip and they put her over Gushchina who did better in every way. Weird. Gushchina is underscored since last season. I thought this season things changed since she started winning medals but I guess not.

Yea she was getting deserved good scores since last season. She isnt usually overscored. Today she fudged the flip and they put her over Gushchina who did better in every way. Weird. Gushchina is underscored since last season. I thought this season things changed since she started winning medals but I guess not.

Hence the reputation scoring she's getting now thanks to that consistency.
Last season she would have had a lower score with the same performance.

No one was expecting this nationals to be one of the 2 deciders for the olympic spot. She likely thought that she would have 12 months more to get back into shape where she could compete for it, I would be shocked if the leaders weren't shaken after the announcement today. Everyone is looking nervous. She was already dealing with nerves badly during the stages the added pressure is going to lead to her being even more on edge.

The fact that fully rotated flip was not +5 doesn't mean that Kseniia suddenly got better SS than Anna.

There is no official desicion from the Fed about the qualifier. And Akatieva can't go according to the current ISU regulations.
