Based on the experience this weekend, I will not pay for further events this season. But as there was no Finlandia Trophy, I saved a lot of money and decided I could pay for some.
The stream was good for Lombardia. The problems seem to have been with the events the company hasn't done before.

Alysa Liu brought a smile to my face 😃
(I just love her programs and she seems to be skating for fun now)
Her score is solid. It will be enough to lock in a GP spot for Olympic season.
Also, I think she can build on the result.
However, top 3 in USA will be tough for her, just based on the jumps. She seems like a 4-6 USA lady this season. But, I know never to count her out. She won on PCS.

Kimmy - Solid skate till the end. She seems to have lost her energy at the end. I’m 50/50 with whether or not she should have won the gold medal here. I think she will improve.

Lorine - Great fighter
Lindsay - I’ll give her a hug 🤗

Maddie - Sigh 😞
This season she has no confidence on most of her jumps. Her free skates are consistently 50+ on both TES and PCS. Her 175 score is an improvement to her SB. However, she is behind Uliana SB this year. Kaiya, Uliana and Lulu can knock her out from the podium by Nationals, if she performs like this.

Alysa!!! 😍 that gold dress is a stunner. Her FS had some stamina issues which is expected but I had no doubts that she can bring it in competitions. She really has "it" when it comes to competing and performing. Looking forward to see her in the GP series!

I'm not so sure kaiya is that much of a threat even with the way Maddie is skating Kaiya has struggled to score over 160 points since the start of last season. Uliana is probably the one to watch because she can land jumps which is lacking with Canadian ladies right now.

Congrats to Alysa! But to be honest, I'm not wild about this LP. I was glad that skaters could finally skate to lyrics, but come on, MacArthur Park?!?!?! Those lyrics NEVER made any sense and even the writer of the song admitted it. Donna Summer's songs are very formulaic, so she could probably just put on Last Dance with the same exact program and no one would notice. But for being half-in training as a college student, she is doing very well. And for her first international since her retirement, and winning, we know there are better performances to come. Too bad she won't be at Skate America.

Lindsay.... well, to be positive many of her jumps were beautiful, but she really hasn't advanced her skating. I didn't detect any connection to the music, and I hope this isn't another $10K program. You kind of just want to tell her "Just SKATE to the music as you feel it. It will be more natural and pleasant for everyone involved. Just going through "choreography" because you have to doesn't make a good program." I'd be interested to see how she freestyles when she's just alone on the ice and wanting to vent. That is who she needs to be in competition. It just seems she doesn't know who she is as a skater.
