Rinka's 3A looked so good considering she didn't compete it for most of the season! Japan is so spoiled for choice in the women, Rinka is such a good skater and is likely going to end her international season here simply due to the depth. She's struggled with that lutz timing across multiple seasons, and it's a shame it let her down here.

Not everything worked out, a pop and some UR jumps but I think that 3A might have saved her chances at a podium finish.

She seems to be building her consistency finally, and her performance has improved heaps too! She's really growing on me as one of my favorites
