RD: 86.32 (1st)

I really like the first half or so of this program - the concept is really unique, the music editing is very successful, and that choreo sequence has so many fantastic moments that only they can do. After that, it starts to sort of become music slop - it all blends together, and they struggle to interpret the change of tempo and theme while also doing the steps. I do really like the musical placement of the lift - I just want to cut out the pattern step section.

With all these cuts there is no reason I should like this program, but I do! It must be Maddie because it works. They get the crowd into it and she has the charisma to fill the arena.

Well.. it was my favourite RD of this event

Less music cuts, better. Still more than I would like, but they may be specifically picked to show off the elements. She does not hold on at all during the rotational lift adding difficulty.

Did anyone else think the music sounded off-pitch just in the middle for a few moments? (Okay, with vinyl and tape it often was) And another throw a scrap everything into 3 minutes... commentator, 11 pieces of music in one RD is not a plus.

There have been so much crap music for the RD this year... and so few fun costumes. Can they drop this theme thing???

I get the concept and I think it could be cool, but this music mix is not working. It's just not a good mix. The twizzles are a bit off, but there wasn't any falls this time.

So it's not like I know much but here's how I see it: she's got a whole lot of charisma, strong lifts, and the rest is ID being ID

I didn't mind the first part of Maddie and Evan's program too much, but the second half was just too jumbled and frantic. They did perform it well though. I think the strongest program of the night was Christina and Anthony's.
