2025-26 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 2 - Krasnoyarsk

No big mistakes today. Though they seemed a little better technically last season.

A lot of tape on her boots, I wonder if they are not too broken.

Is she OK?

Mironova/Ustenko lose bronze to Shcherbakova/Goncharov because Ustenko falls on the spin entry.

Khudaiberdieva says they could have immediately restarted the spin for minimal loss, but they did not have the experience to realize it quickly enough.

This was a learning opportunity before Nats. It's ok for them.

I don't think they could.

You can't retry an element. It won't be validated.

I wonder why they got no deduction. He clearly fell on his knee.

She said they did not actually initiate the spin. The fall was early enough to restart.

I mean, I have no idea if she's right. It's just what she said.

Good question about deduction.

2 points less in TES than last stage, but more PCS. I disagree, I think PCS should also be lower. It was more fluidly connected last time from what I remember.

They lost me towards the end. I would redo this entire part of the program.

The first part of the program is outrageously difficult. They have to be perfect to sell it, unlike K/N who can allow themselves to be carried by the music.
