Yes, but they were very strong anyways.

What a huge turnaround for Russian ID. It looked dire a couple years back but the comeback was brewing. Finally the stars aligned for us. Nationals is going to be amazing. Especially with the men also looking incredible.

Ok, I know that wasn't perfect by their standard, but the SS gap is already enormously salient. The program is really fun. I would be happy with this start for them as a comeback. They are awesome.

I think Stepanova/Bukin's programming is much better in general. I've always been a Maxim defender but I'm still not completely sold. I don't know about the eyeshadow for him it's a little off-putting.
