Sad about Yametova's troubles so far and crossing my fingers for Sinitsyna. Music choices in this set of women is not my cup of tea. Liked Gushina's the most even if it's a warhorse too and Gorbacheva was classy. I have to say, at least I like Frolova's chances at this year's Nationals based on what is on display so far.

The biggest problem to me is how tired she seems from this SP.

She didn't have triples at the warm-up at all. She also had a hard breath and rainy nose. I don't think she competes in the free.

I saw something similar with Voronov yesterday iirc, there seem to be a move of some schools or cooperation they are trying to reflect and it doesn't mean they changed coaches -- it's weird because it .looks like mixed Moscow-St P teams.

Voronov brothers did change coaches. They are not training with Butsaeva anymore. Their coach is Daineko.

Since Sasha got older, comfortably social and involved herself in media, she is my favourite personality by a margin. Far, far beyond Zagitova, or even Anna, and whoever else.

She cried about never winning a top competition, but i think in the entire sport she is and will always be unique. She (almost) single-handedly made ladies' quads a fact. And she needed 3 years for it while the collective top elite of the men needed 30. Unrepeatable.
