Too bad about the fall from the Japanese dancers, because they hit the theme of SOCIAL DANCES better than anyone else in this group.
It's social dances from these decades... not skating to music from these decades. And there's a difference.
As someone old enough to know, you can take my word for it. Nobody ever said, "Honey, they're playing Fever! Let's hit the dance floor and show 'em what we got!" It would be like asking your partner to dance to Enya. No gripes about the music, but it's not what you hear frequently at a dance party.
For all the gripes about Chock and Bates rhythm dance of many music cuts, at least it fits the theme. People actually danced and HAD FUN when those songs came on.
It's social dances from these decades... not skating to music from these decades. And there's a difference.

I'm on the English CBC and not getting any ads at all. Mind you, I have two ad blockers on the computer, so they'd better earn their keep.

but there was an advert i guess from the rink... in french... i guess people in korea like French cosmetics enough to understand it

"Are you having a good time here?" is a rather unfortunate question, can anyone really be expected to say "no"
SBS have no ads except the ones being inflicted on the live audience on that screen... on the other hand I can only hear one word out of three from Bradie because her voice and the announcer clash.

Most likely it was during Asian Winter Games, though I can't remember their skate order and the page won't load now
