Finally a pair who announce the programs not split or retirement. Can't wait to see the Rachmaninoff! (ignoring buble).

LOL! Just because it's Buble does not mean worthy of ignoring. I was not familiar with this offering so I looked it up.

Looks like another tango (which has been so ubiquitous in figure skating). Quizás, Quizás, Quizás [Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps] is described as "a iconic 1947 bolero written by Cuban composer, Osvaldo Farrés. It was inspired by a woman who wouldn't give him a straight answer about her love. The lyrics focus on frustration and longing..." For Val and Max, I suspect this selection may be more about continuing to pursue a career together that has given them no straight answers. Rather than allowing their frustration to compel retirement, they are allowing their longing to thrust them into further passionate exploration of possibilities...

A bolero is not only a short jacket, it is also 'a lively 3/4 time Spanish dance, or a slow, romantic Latin American musical ballad, or a ballroom dance,' in addition to the titled orchestral work composed by Maurice Ravel, in 1928, initially as a ballet piece for dancer, Ida Rubenstein. Interesting background knowledge, since Ravel's Bolero has been used so often in figure skating, it's a bonafide war horse. As announced, it will be tackled by Z/K next season in ice dance. I had actually forgotten that Metelkina/ Berulava used Bolero this past season. 🤭🫣

Also, here's the Andrea Bocelli & Jennifer Lopez version of Quizás, Quizás, Quizás:

The video's background scenes are from Hong Kong filmmaker, Wong Kar-Wei's masterpiece, In the Mood for Love. The stage dancers are the amazing real-life couple and DWTS famed duo, Jenna Johnson and Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

I checked and I'm not convinced, sorry :P Somehow he can make even tango/latin sound boring. However, I do believe Val&Max are very capable of squizzing some character out of it.

Just a small correction: the stage dancers are actually Anna Trebunskaya and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Aleksandra Golovkina (GBR)
SP: "Caruso" by Jackie Evancho, choreography by Mark Hanretty

That was put up yesterday. On Tuesday, Aleks had put up another video of her and Mark training. But all she said about it was that the music had been replaced. So, it may be another video of her Short Programme, or it may be a video of her Free Skate programme. We just don't know.

Looking forward to seeing both of her programmes for her first season of representing Great Britain. I'm sure they will both be beautiful (because Aleksandra's programmes always are!)
