Deanna and Max are 2024 World champions and were considered podium contenders for the Olympics. We'll see both at the Olys. But good for Canadian judges not elevating a poor performance by former world champs.

What a fantastic program, I'm so happy for Jacob!!!! He has so much quality in his skating, this program is really lovely and he brings a wonderful mix of power and elegance. He's working on 4Lz and 4S in practice, but I'm glad he chose to focus on a clean skate here because it really lets his abilities shine. His jumps were absolutely flying tonight, and his spins are really lovely as well, the step sequence had so much ice coverage and that choreo sequence was fantastic as well.

oh he looks so thrilled and emotional about that skate, that's such a deserved standing ovation!!!!!!!! oh my gosh his family is soooo adorable in the stands, I'm so happy they got to witness that amazing program from him!

I don’t think so. Jimmy’s not going to get a bye for next year and probably not a 4CCs bid. We know who will win. We know 2 of the 3 places on the Olympic team. Hopefully Torgashev will be the 3rd place.
