All Star Survivor!

Mike, I hate Rob or as Guinevere refers to him as Robfather. I think more than hating Rob, I hate the people who are afraid of him. What are their problems? Who is he? Why is he calling all the shots? Lex is stupid, stupid. Who is going to back him up in the merge?

Mike, I understand where you're coming from but I still don't want Robfather to win.

The "tribe switch" sure was a neat twist....poor ex-Chapera-now-Mogo Mogo losing their fancy abode!!!

Personally, I'm glad that ex-Mogo Mogo did not vote Amber off.

My mind is telling me that it was a setup. You have all the players lined up in number order and give them a tiny jug to pick new buff's. Everyone's just pulling out the one on top.

I think it would be dumb of anyone to bring Rob to the final 2. In the past, most of the players will vote for the person who played the game the best, regardless of betryal or personal likes/dislikes. During Amazon, almost everyone said they would've voted for Rob C instead of Jenna if he had been the choice instead of Matt. He was successful because he was pretty open about his deal making. If Lil had brought Johny Fairplay instead of what's-her-name, Lil would've won, but that's because John was so unlikeable. Rob M is well-liked and has played the game well - if he's in the final 2, he will win, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. It was just too easy that every other buff pulled was the same color.

Lil would have lost no matter what. Darrah said at the reunion that she would have voted for Lil over Johnny, but I think that was her opinion after having seen all of the episodes. Everything she said in the last few episodes of Survivor indicated that she respected Jonny's playing more than Lil's, and she would ahve voted for Jon. I don't think there was a single person Lil could have gone up against and won, because no one on the jury respected her game play (I don't really agree with this, but it was a pretty overwhelming opinion). Lil knew this, and used the only power she had - to choose the winner - and she made sure Jon didn't win. For that, I will always love Lil!

Lil - Worst. Final. Two. Member. Ever. I'd forgotten about her. I like it when I do that.

I was rooting for Lex, but now that he's gone and played a silly game, I'm finding it hard to stay on his side.

I don't really like any of them, but I have to hand it to Boston for having them all wrapped around his finger.

And this? Was my first post. So if I've somehow managed to rule violate, be kind and let me know. Thanks.

Are they still going to call it Survivor this week, or are they just going to go ahead and change the name to the Boston Rob Puppet Show??? I want that tribe he's on (I had enough problem remembering the tribe names before the switch, now I'm just completely confused) to gang up, throw the immunity challenge, and boot his butt out of there! Now THAT would be the smartest move made on that show so far.....

A few weeks late, but I'm so glad Colby is gone, he was so full of himself with a holier-than-thou attitude. Get ta' stepping Colby!

It's never too late to be glad that Colby "I don't respect your playing style" Donaldson is gone ;)

Am I understanding this correctly? There are going to be 2 people who get immunity? That should bring out the claws. Who's going tonight, any guesses? Mine would be Alicia---I think she upsets the Rob Father.

I'd guess that it's going to be one of the three original mogo mogo's who get the boot. As for which one, I haven't a clue.

I think if they merge tonight and she doesn't get immunity, Shii Ann will be gone. The "Robfather" will maintain his (soon to be short lived) promise to Lex, and Kathy will be protected by that, and the fact that the other tribe has met and liked her also.

Now, just another hour and a half until it's on here!!

I didn't feel sorry for Lex. Rob gave him the same speech that Lex gave Ethan -- friends are freinds, but the game is the game.

Why didn't Lex grab that last buoy and save himself in the imunity challenge?

MM

I really didn't feel bad for Lex or Kathy at all. That is what they get for believing Boston Rob. I don't like him, but he is playing the best game of anybody out there. That guy was MADE to play Survivor.... unfortunately, for non fans like me.

It was sort of funny watching Lex cry about friendship after the talk that he gave Ethan... it's not so nice when you're on the other side of it, now is it Lex?

Classy final words, at least.

Oh, and Shii Ann? Dead weight. Unless Kathy wins immunity again, you're looking at your last standing Mogo Mogo member there. There is absolutely not reason to get rid of her.

Despite my intense dislike for both Mr & Mrs Mariano, I had to resist the urge to laugh at Lex and Kathy's histrionics. I mean, come on! Those two (and Shii Ann, although she wasn't included in the deal with Amber and seems clearly to be going with the flow all the way) dug their own graves. For a minnit there, I was afraid we were going to have YET ANOTHER person quit the game - someone with an immunity necklace, no less!

I have been pretty disappointed with this season since the beginning, but now I am having a hard time even caring. I mean, at this point Rob could hang a big sign on his head that says "I'm lying to you right now so Amber & I can win" and everyone would still do whatever he says. :sheesh:

My ONLY hope for this season would be if it got down to the final 3 and Amber double-crossed Rob, saying she'd been playing him the whole time. Like THAT'll happen...

I am totally with you. At first it was just kinda dull, and now it's flipped into downright irritating. I am starting to dislike Rob almost as much as I did Jonny Fairplay (who would have ended up hacked up with a machete had I been stuck on that island with him:D ) As soon as Kathy is done, I think I pretty much am, too. Though she even irritated me tonight. I understand her holding on to the immunity, but if she wasn't going to give it up, she should have just kept her mouth shut. This is starting to turn into Africa, where from week to week it was a toss-up between about 4 different people as to who I disliked the most.

I wasn't surprised to see the "Robfather" dump Lex already, although I liked Lex. Rob is clearly the one who's been in control of this game for a long time, and I give him credit for playing so well, although personally, I can't stand him.

I would LOVE to see it get down to Rob, Amber and someone else, and find out that Amber HAS been playing him all along and dump him! Ha ha ha, now there is "outplay, outwit, outlast"!!

I still like Rupert, but think he's along the puppet train as well...ALTHOUGH, I think he made good choices on who to take to the reward with him, AND I think he may have thrown immunity. He knew he was safe, and if he makes himself look like less of a threat in individual immunities, he maybe will be able to hang around a bit longer.

Kasey, very good deduction. I didn't feel sorry for Lex, he deserved everything he got. Talk about naive. Even though I don't like Rob, I do like how he told Lex-- and his explanation. I couldn't believe Kathy keeping the immunity necklace after all, I don't think Lex could either.

Dee

I think Kathy may have realized 'Hey, I won immunity. I still have a shot at this. Even if I give immunity to Lex; he'll probably be gone next week unless he wins immunity'

Also, Kathy may be thinking about going to Rupert, Jenna and Alicia to report that Rob made promises to Lex and that Rob obviously plans to bring Amber and Big Tom to the end. If Kathy, Shi-Ann, Rupert, Jenna and Alicia team up against, Rob, Amber & Big Tom - who knows what will happen. Assuming that Rupert, Jenna and Alicia have some sort of alliance, they might feel secure enough to change alliance against Rob since this would still give them a majority later against Kathy & Shi-Ann.

Regardless, it's ridiculous for anyone to allow the Rob and Amber alliance to stay intact.
