Awww, plushyfan, thank you! I know both the saying and the song very well. Both very popular in Poland, the song among my and my mother's favorites (and there's quite a number of covers by Polish artists too) and the saying bringing back great memories of my trip to Budapest!. :biggrin:

That said, I can't wait to see Plushy at the Worlds opening, now that I've seen him live, I'd be watching him with new eyes!

I'll take Best of Plushenko over Storm (which has become the irritating cousin of this thread :laugh:). I like the footwork during the Scheherazade section, and hopefully he'll bring back some Godfather moves. But he already skated it in China last year... so my hunch says it's Je Suis Malade.
 
I was thinking that, if I were allowed a "request" of his "old" programs, I'd actually really like to see... the Saint Saens medley. I was really fond of it - and I don't think as many people would have seen it.

ETA - Obviously I know it is already in the thread somewhere (probably in several places even), but as I'm rewatching it myself... :

^Argh, don't remind me. That was one of my favourite programs, and I'm sad it was never skated to perfection. If he'd been able to deliver the Saint-Saens Medley with the same quality as he delivered Tango Roxanne at 2012 Europeans...

Needless to say, I would like to see it over Storm. ;) But original swan outfit please--no black see-through shirts!

Sandpiper, many fans like this program. I also would like to see it when he is in good shape. The Japanese fans were very inspired by the program and they made the most beautiful fan arts about "Plushy-Swan"

Instead you are very likely to get the black see-through shirt - but extremely unlikely to get the Saint Saens medley. Actually, if I got the medley - I'm not sure I'd care if he even wore the Ultra C-through... ;)

@plushyfan - Maybe we should petition him? About the medley and Mack the knife... ;)

Oh my God... :eek: I can't believe it took me this long to make the connection. After all the speculation about Yana's "Ultra-C"... All it means is see-through outfits?! Plushy, nooooooo! :hopelessness:

I guess I can deal with see-through (C-through?) if he skates the Saint-Saens Medley... But I still don't understand why he ditched the swan for Nationals to begin with. The swan outfit was clearly part of the program/story. It was like if Liza suddenly started skating her LP in slacks and a t-shirt.

@Sandpiper - But I don't think they could possibly get any more C-through than they already are... so if this was what Yana had in mind, I dread to think.... ! (Yo, designer - no, that is not meant as a challenge! I don't want you to try to figure out how you could get away with any more C-through! You've done what you could in that line - may I suggest you go in another direction now? Pretty-please?)

Noooo... Sorry, Edvin, I have nothing against you, but I have everything against anything that increases the chances of Storm happening.

I hold out for the 1% chance that Plushy is doing all these exercise videos to practice for an aerobics collaboration with Javi. :p

EDIT: Crap, just remembered something: He already skated Tosca and Best of Plushenko in China for Artistry on Ice last summer. So... looks like Storm is 99% confirmed. Unless he and Edvin break out Godfather/Tango/Nijinsky/something (1% chance... combined).

Come, come. let's not be gloomy... Maybe we're overthinking this, and he doesn't care that he's already skated Best of Plushenko in China. Maybe he'd like the idea of skating Best of Plushenko at the WCH - albeit in an Opening. All right, so maybe now I'm overthinking things ;) - but I suppose that's what happens when we fans are given all this time with nothing much to talk about...
