It's been quiet on the Plushy-front with Nastya Zinina competing at JP Krasnoyarsk, but I come with big news!

Nastya came 2nd! I'm so happy for her and Plushy and the Academy!

I return with an interesting video! Obviously, someone at Krasnoyarsk is a mad Plushy fan because they took this video of Coachshenko at work during Nastya's SP.

Also I couldn't help wondering "Are those autograph hunters holding out for a Plushy autograph?" Then I was like, nah they're hoping for Nastya's autograph and some of them got one!

Zinina's 4T is getting much much better now, simply wow! Still, her stamina needs to be strengthened. Obviously Plushy is an expert in this field, and he knows very well how to improve her skating more rapidly. Wish them all the best of luck!

Yes! It's a beautiful 4T, Nastya's learning from the best though, Plushy was the King of 4Ts, pure bias here, but he could do a better 4T with four screws in his back then most skaters could fully healthy. This is like my favourite gif. Look at that boss.

Also of interest is the fact that one of Plushy's first coaches was a former weight lifter, who was big on off-ice training, running with weights etc. It served Plushy well, as we can see, so he's passing it on to the new generation.

I read that Sasha was describing his dad's poor childhood quite vividly, like collecting bottles to sell them. So cute! Yana was making an early prediction on Sasha's Olympic chances as a skater while Plushy was trying to balance his role in Sasha's training life between a loving father and a strict coach.

Let's all wish Arseniy a very Happy Birthday though!

How time flies! Arseny turned one year old! I have to say that he is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. His pure blue eyes are simply irresistible!

Titova made such an impressive 3A+2T in a fairly confident skate at the Cup that even boys cannot do. Simply great!

Regarding Nika's injury, I need to say a few words. Those media people in Russia are verging on the ridiculous & crazy! How could they make such scary headline as "Nika Broke Her Leg" in the press?! I will never understand that!

Well it's been a big weekend what with JGP Linz. Such a big weekend I didn't have time to post this and it's now a very nerve-wracking Monday morning as we prepare to re-open the Library to the public.

In other news I did a thing...
