Ladies LP

And Carolina bombing left and right and stinking up the arena. Why Carolina Why?
The only thing she's lacking is conviction, and it can lose you 30 points.

Kostner has popped almsot every jump. And fallen on her butt once too. I feel terrible for her, but really a poor effort. She should end below Czisny.

Look at those PCS scores Yuna received ( ~68). Why do these judges feel like inflating everyone's scores?

If all scores are high and consistent across, it's not particularly inflating. It's judging a generally well skated event with great scores for those great skates. Scores have been higher all season because skaters are adapting to the rules and milking the PCS for all they're worth.

Personally I'm surprised we haven't seen 10s yet. I wonder what the judges would offer to YuNa for advice for what she could have done to improve her PCS? Probably not a heck of a lot, so why not 10s?

Now, if Carolina is ranked with the 5th highest FS or something, then we'll know something is up...

Great Job and congratulations to Yu-NA!! But She can not be Michelle.Michelle could do all triples perfect.Yu-na is good at only toe jumps. She is not good at edge jumps at all. The greatest skater in the history must be able to show all the jumping ability.

That was seriously that worst skate of the night. Whoa, we all know she has consistency issues, but this is pushing it too far.

I know Carolina isn't going to win and she probably had that mindset but don't threw away your competition. What for? At least put some effort.

Sad to see that for Joannie all of her work did not pay off in the end. Meaning that it was not as clean as she probably wanted it to be. She is first but she probably would have wanted to have a clean program

What are you talking about? Was it as free as it's been all season long? Of course not. However, and this is the biggie here, Joannie did not give up on the program. Last year after that mistake on the loop, the rest would have gone out the window.

Not this year. She fought for everything tonight and look what has happened!!

Of course she'll be sad that she didn't skate her best, but it's a huge step up for Joannie. Boy did she earn it too.

So proud for Joannie.

I'm going to be a mess during the Medals.

Congratulations Yuna! I knew she would win easily here.
I hope this is a wake up call for Mao. She really needs a full time coach! Her programs were horrible this season as she got lower PCS than Miki here.
