I was just about to say, when all was said and done, things turned out pretty much the way everyone was predicting.
The only surprises were Vernerand Oda
(but seriously, why can't the boy skate the program that he prepared and practiced a thousand times without forgetting how many combinations he has done?)
Poor Jeff! I don't know why the silly guy went for a quad. Not necessary considering all the splatting before him. A clean performance would have assured a silver, or at least some medal. But there's always next year, and hopefully he'll be more trained then!

Can someone PLEASE make a clip of it
That was a great LP by Lambiel! Good for jeff to try the quad. I would never feel comfortable to see a male skater get a medal without a quad. It was like expecting a medal without a quad is waiting others to fall.

ok - I must agree with Button that Lambiel just had to many mistakes in his LP - BUT what a GORGEOUS absolutely LOVELY and AWESOME program.
I really admire it more when skaters get new programs each season, but I sincerely, truly, honestly hope Lambiel keeps both of these for next year and skates them lights out all season long. Wow - i loved it.
I actually really liked Weir's LP - I just wish he could skate with energy and conviction 'cuz he is another beauty to behold (IMO).
