Russia, China,?

As I looked at the thread at about the up-and -coming skaters I was reminded of somthing that occurred to me while watching 4CC. The russian ownership of pair skating was long... but right now quite dormant. The top pairs are one german and two chinese.
But I can't see any of these teams continuing after 2010. Who is waiting in the wings? After Shen and Zhao, Pang and Tong... who bill Bin Yao offer next? Or will the chinese pair dominance be over?

Well, look at JW. At the top were two Russian teams and one Chinese, and another promising Russian team, and a very promising Chinese pair, who was actually expected to place higher than the one that actually medaled. Not to mention the Russian pair that was just forced to withdraw from JW due to failing a drug test.

I think the Russians and the Chinese will dominate Pairs for a long time to come.

Now I am interested.

They are Huibo dong / Yiming Wu who placed 3rd at JW and Yue ZHANG / Lei WANG who placed 7th.

I am going to watch them on icenetwork today and will report............
