2027 World Team Trophy

The 2027 ISU World Team Trophy will take place April 8-11, 2027, in Tokyo, Japan.

The ISU World Team Trophy features the six (6) best national Teams from ISU Members. A special provision also allows the host ISU Member to qualify. Each Team includes 2 Men Single Skaters, 2 Women Single Skaters, 1 Pair, and 1 Ice Dance team, for a total of 8 Skaters. Each Team also nominates a Captain from its Team Skaters. The captain represents the Team, including during the medal ceremony.

Six (6) ISU Members qualify through the ISU World Standing points scoring scale (see the applicable scale in sub-paragraph e) below). The best 2 Women Single Skaters, the best 2 Men Single Skaters, the best Pair, and the best Ice Dance Couple earn the points. Results come primarily from the 2026-27 figure skating season, including the: ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating events and Final, and the ISU World Figure Skating Championships. Results may also come from the ISU European Figure Skating Championships, the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships, and the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating events.

It follows the current ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance, and all relevant ISU Communications.
