Wow. Ted says only 12 skaters rather than 18 per category will be able to compete at Canadian Nationals.

FYI you are missing the last group of 5 skaters... which features 2 of the most promising skaters Wesley and Shohei

Shohei was my favourite performer. Low technical difficulty. But, the spins and step sequence and rest of the skating was top notch. Will root for him for the free skate tomorrow.

Wow! I thought he looked familiar... William St. Cloud is so talented. He finished 3rd in Junior Pairs and is now also going to Nationals in singles, as well. I’m impressed one can train four different programs. So, that impressed me.
Also, Tim Pomares choreographing his own programs makes me appreciate his commitment. Sign of a true artist.

ok, unto final flight. Go Shohei! 😃 (It will be a fight between artistry and some triple axels in this final flight).

his name is St-Louis, William St-Louis :)

Rio is the best jumper. He rotates so quickly. I don’t like his lack of emotion during his performance. I think Wesley is my pick to win Junior Nationals. I can’t believe he attempted a 4S.

The Junior Boys were better than the Junior Ladies.

Looking forward to the Senior events next weekend!

it tends to be like this in Canada right? seniors as well... we were so lucky to have Gabby, Kaetlyn and Alaine fighting for the podium for a few years... but in general.. it's been a low calorie intake of sweet skates in ladies for decades
