Basically tied is unfortunately not really a thing with the very heavily politicised scoring in Ice Dance. Being in the penultimate group can definitely limit your scoring potential.well, they are basically tied now
Though the Germans are indeed usually stronger in the Free (because no key points
), so there's still room for movement indeed with the very small gap after the RD
