True, but I hope they can be much stronger, not just better. They've got the content and the potential. I just hope they can deliver.can it really go worse ?
Time to go to the whiteboard and do some equations. So, besides Wesley… who is basically guaranteed the title… who will Canada send to 4CC, Senior and Junior Worlds?![]()
I agree. It was obvious that 4CC should have been decided early with Stephen, Wesley and Conrad. If they knew they had this upcoming event, they would feel less pressure at this event.and this is why Skate Canada needed to announce the 4CC team BEFORE nationals... take some pressure off from these guys.
Like seriously. It's not rocket science. I deal with young talent all the time.. Why are they doing it all wrong ?
I am obviously pissed off. I will drink all the wine and watch the archives from pairs and dance... hopefully I will find some relief there... (do not spoil it for me LOL)
Are you sure you want to ask this question in a Men's event?can it really go worse ?
Wow.. great hood!BTW : i attend as many competitions as I can... which means, mostly events in my hood... it's been ACI, SCI, CQE and soon worlds...
I have NEVER seen my beloved Conrad skate live... and it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon.![]()
I appreciate your bright take on things. Thank you. There were definitely some massive disappointments tonight, but there were some bright moments as well. My three favourite performances were those of Mikhail (I'd never even heard of him, but he's definitely on my radar now. I was so impressed with him!), Anthony (I love his creativity!), and Wesley (He's not my favourite skater, but he laid it down when it counted and provided a good performance). Hopefully the skaters who struggled tonight will be able to have redemption skates tomorrow night.
thanks but yeah... there is not enough wine in my house to get over thisSo much doom and gloom. Did no one watch that notorious cactus, A. Selevko, lay it down at Euros today?
If he can do it, Canadian men can too.
I had wine... and it wasn't lovely LOLThat would've been a lovely event to watch if I had alcohol
