2024 Canadian Nationals Senior Men SP

this is a disaster. i expected it. from the moment Conrad said : Nationals may be my last competition this year.. .lots of pressure etc...

they should have sent him out when he didn't get a second outing..

Skate Canada is responsible for our men doing so badly this year.

What do you think is going on with the Canadian Men? Since Patrick, Keegan, and Nam are gone, Canada has been struggling. I'm trying to figure out why.

Well I hope Roman can pull up in the LP. And if the choreography of his long is anything like his short, I want to see it just to see it anyway.

I say this in the kindest possible way, Ted and Kaetlyn—please stop making excuses for these guys. They are big boys, they can take it. They know when they mess up and are harder on themselves than the public can ever be.

Oh dear - another rough skate! The popped Axel and the Zayaked 3T are really going to sink his score. I thought that Conrad looked really nervous when he started his program, and he didn't perform as well as he has been lately (one weakness in his skating that has really improved under Ravi's tutelage). Hopefully he, too, will be able to make a comeback in the FS.

Right now, I just feel ughhh about Canadian men's skating. What is there to say, really? Yes, Wesley did well at this competition but he's inconsistent internationally. Anyways, just feeling sad about the state of men's skating in Canada right now.

Well this is now Chiu's to lose. Rakic skating very well too. As sad as I am for Roman, Conrad and Stephen, it's great to see some other guys mixing it up.

Kaetlyn and Ted have said it : Conrad and Roman had great practices... so if they cannot deliver in competition, with the pressure, it's because they don't get out..

actually, if I am not mistaken, the skater who got out the most often this year is in the lead right now.

Conrad is very handsome when he is about to cry... but I would like to see how handsome he is when he is beaming.
