I don't think so. She was the first to land a triple axel. She was the first to attempt a quad. Per the Internet.Didn't Alysa Liu do quads at US Nats before?

I agree. I had to mute it.I love Starr but this long program is not it, just awful music

Yes she is the first young lady to do a quad at US Nationals but someone needs to work with her on the rest of her skating skills and jumps because the rest of her free skate was not even mediocreMia needs to focus on her triples….
I remember Eteri wouldn’t let Trusova practice quads until she landed clean triples in her free skate run throughs.
Mia’s 4T is amazing!! The triples, not so much. The artistry leaves a lot to be desired. Can she get a spot to Junior Worlds? She scored lower than Logan… So, I don’t think she did enough.
So it's the first rotated quad toe at Nats, thanks for the info!Under rotated quad lutz

Dozens of Canadian women skaters take exception to this comment and insist their music is both more boring and worse (and I also disliked Starr's music).Starr has the un-official record of the skater who have skated to the most borring music season after season
I dunno, Derrick got her to a GP medal. Not that many skaters ever win a GP medal.Starr needs a new coach honestly. She needs new people looking at her skills, technique, music, etc.
My dream is for Starr to have one Sandra Bezic program before her career ends. She could handle much better choreo.Starr needs a new coach honestly. She needs new people looking at her skills, technique, music, etc.
