I've said this about Starr's musical choice when I last saw her skate, and after her mishaps here, I'll say it again.

I really like Starr, I enjoy her skating, however, when you have consistency issues, and a program that is not as difficult as your competitors, perhaps you shouldn't skate to a song called "Being Good Isn't Good Enough"

Mia needs to focus on her triples….

I remember Eteri wouldn’t let Trusova practice quads until she landed clean triples in her free skate run throughs.

Mia’s 4T is amazing!! The triples, not so much. The artistry leaves a lot to be desired. Can she get a spot to Junior Worlds? She scored lower than Logan… So, I don’t think she did enough.

Yes she is the first young lady to do a quad at US Nationals but someone needs to work with her on the rest of her skating skills and jumps because the rest of her free skate was not even mediocre

Dozens of Canadian women skaters take exception to this comment and insist their music is both more boring and worse (and I also disliked Starr's music).

I dunno, Derrick got her to a GP medal. Not that many skaters ever win a GP medal.
