What a shame! David is a beautiful, refined skater, but this was not his day. Regardless, it was probably my favourite program of the final flight.

this is the issue when your content is weaker and you need to be clean and you are in the lead... as soon as there is a mistake... it spirals down... still a lovely skater.

Well, he has huge potential, but that really wasn't the skate David Howes wanted. He had enough of a lead for one fall, but not three. It was reminiscent of his skates at the start of the season, sadly.

The Skate Canada selectors seem to love him. He was immediately given two JGP spots this season despite others doing better at Next Gen.

Grayson can score well, but I think David and Anthony are more consistent than him. Plus he's had issues with the 3F in the short, so that might take him out of the running since he can't pop it into a double competing as a Senior.

Anthony if he beats Grayson at this Nationals to be fair and David B. because I like it when athletes that win Junior Nationals get rewarded

I wouldn't rule out Eddy automatically either. David B should go with the best between Anthony Eddy or Grayson

Eddy doesn't have the minimums to go. He'd probably get them now that he's had some stronger competitions, but not in time for the entry deadline.

Will he still do the 3F in the short, though? There's no compulsory solo jump in seniors, so he can replace it with a different one. Just needs a little bit of adjustment to the choreo for the entry.
