Maria reminds me a lot of Lipnitskaya, not only by the looks but also by the free-spirit-personality she shows on the ice. I hope we see more of her.

Elisova great performance. Not many women in the world can jump two triple axels in a program.

I miss beautiful spins. I feel like this generation of skaters and coaches is so obsessed with jumps that the spins get neglected.

The problem is that the field will be much deeper next season with Petrova, Dzepka, Kadyrova, Labutina, etc.

And, what's worse, Mazur represents Moscow that might lead to her not even making to the stages.

A clean Mazur should beat all of them but Dzepka, IMO. However you make a good point, as a properly clean Mazur is a tall ask. That being said I still wouldn't be surprised to see her qualify, as her stage performances this season were realistically disasters. At an average standard and stronger experience she should still be above Pulinas and Kudlais, likely qualifying even if behind a couple of those names you brought up.

Actually, when I saw it up close at the end, it wasn't a dalmation skin section. It was more like a mosaic of white tile fragments, with black grouting.

Really didn't like the re-mix of "Can You Feel It" at the start. But at least it was the original versions of "Billie Jean" and "Bad".

The skating was really good!

She doesn't look happy waiting for her scores.

These are just first names I thought of. Generally I think there will be really many ladies turning senior-eligible. Pleckacheva, too.

Do you think she deserves less? The GOEs at the beginning were so stingy I thought—everything less than 1. BTW, huge back-loading should be considered.

I think Anna Lyashenko is the most underrated lady of this season. She is brilliant.
