I am sorry, I love Mirai but the music is horrible! What the hell? I thought she would only use Back to Black and Young and beautiful and although I wasn't sure how these two pieces would work together, it would be still better than this mix. This won't do any justice to her.

No word on WeaPo, C/B, P/C, G/P, etc...the Shibs and C/L are the only worlds top 5 couples who released their music. And I'm still waiting on H/B...what happened to "you'll find out really soon"?!? :scowl: :scratch:

There is some info floating out there on Gilles/Poirier. They have debuted, and I believe a poster said one of their programs was composed for them. I read the title, but don't remember the name. Anyone?

In dance there seem to be three general schools of thought. A. Release your info really early so everyone else will know your music & hopefully keep their hands off. B. Leave no room for negative speculation and debut with an actual performance and as big a bang as you can get. C. Don't tell anyone your music! They might steal it. (Especially if you have somehow miraculously hit on an original SP selection. OTOH, if you're not sure how your SP selection might be received, it might not be bad to announce early in case people care to nudge you in a different direction).

Remember when A/P and K/O were both going to use Carmina Burana the same year but then K/O had to retire so we never got to see the battle of C/B :disapp:
I want some drama so a Tosca C/Burana will do nicely.B/S Karenina should be interesting .Not Carmen though too many lately with V/M and C/L.

From the legal point of view - Marcotte and Radford

LOL, you apparently missed the posts in the Duhamel/Marcotte wedding thread and elsewhere -- from GS members who had informed us that the law in Quebec does not allow women to change their names for the reason of marriage. So her legal name still is Duhamel.

Not to mention that even if she did have the option of changing her legal name to her husband's, we don't know whether she would choose that option (see the very thorough discussion in the Tanith/Charlie thread).
