2015-2016 Programs by Discipline

Serafima Sakhanovich about her new programs:

Programs for the new season are ready. Both choreographed by Nikita Mikhailov, a choreographer of ice shows. It was my first time working with him but results surpassed all my expectations. I am excited, I think we made no mistake turning to him – his approach is very original. Music to my short was chosen with help from Nikita but for the LP I chose myself. I think that by the test skates in Novogorsk at the beginning of August both programs will be polished.
I am to continue to compete as a junior in 2015-16 added Serafima, I was thinking about competing on the senior level but following advice from the federation I’ll remain on the junior team (smiling) especially as I am planning to represent Russia at Youth Olympics in Lillehammer

When I first saw she will skate in juniors I wasn't very happy about it. I still think it would be better for her to skate in seniors even if she might not be in the Euro and Worlds team. She would also take some experience. Now she will be behind Evgenia who will be more experienced in 2016-2017 season. But the junior field will be very competitive next season, so the girls will push each other to be better. I also didn't realised she would compete at the Youth Olympics. We don't know who else will compete there but I think it will be a good oportunity for Sima.

I'm looking forwards to Kiira's programs! I think Zhenia's going with Sima to YOG? Who's old enough for it?
Yes, I think they could both go... Then it depends on the Fed, maybe were Zhenya chosen for Euros she wouldn't want to compete there since they're close to each other... But with Tuktamysheva, Radionova, Sotnikova and Lipnitskaya Zhenya does not have many chances (she does have some for sure, but not really so many). Anyway, with Sima now added to Sotskova, Proklova, Tsurkaya and Higuchi (maybe Karen Chen and Tursynbaeva?) the Junior girls field will be probably the toughest ever!

YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU DID NOT DOOOOOOO.....
aLLLLL THAT THE PHANTOM ASKED OF YOUUUUUUU!!!!!!
hAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA.........................
Well we are strong, we have survived the POTO epidemic.

I hope this season we will have more diversity.

Gatsby is coming for ya!

I actually like (most of) the POTO music. Gatsby? Blugh! I would probably feel the way about a Gatsby epidemic that most people felt about the POTO epidemic. Can't we have some other epidemic that isn't POTO, Carmen, Swan Lake, Bolero, anything that's already been overused? (I left off R & J and Scheherazade because I don't mind those.) But, whatever, complaining isn't going to get rid of epidemics. I'm thinking "Gatsby's Gotta Go!" Will be the motto of the 2015-16 season...:laugh2:
