Good grief. Still, I suppose there are at least varied versions amongst them i.e. Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, both films as well as which cuts /tracks?

All of the above and a French musical. I think, thus far, the Baz Luhrmann soundtrack may be the most common.

ETA: Actually, I'm not certain anyone has selected Tchaikovsky yet. There's irony for you.

Also Della Monica/Guarise are doing their SP to music by Abel Korzeniowski from the recent Romeo and Juliet movie.

I'm actually excited about some of them because the Abel Korzenkowski version is one of my favorite pieces of skating music. :slink: So-Youn and H/B's R&Js were gorgeous.

Why is Radinova always ill? Girl needs to eat those veggies because she was sick at WC and at GPF and I thought she missed a bunch of training throughout the season due to illness....poor thing. I hope she isn't plagued by that again because it's just a little scary.

Isn't she one of the skaters working with Morozov too?

Spending all day inside in a cold ice rink with poor air quality (all rinks have this, even nice ones) probably isn't helping keep her immune system super strong. I feel like most skaters get sick quite a bit, I've always chalked it up to them being hauled up in cold ice rinks all day, limiting their food intake, and over-training (compared to what a normal human body is meant to sustain, usually 2 rest days per week is what doctors recommend but most of these skaters take 1 day off per week or none at all). I would assume most elite skaters are getting flu shots yet it always seems like there are a handful of competitors who get the flu around nationals each year.

And don't forget how many snot-nosed little kids (and non snot-nosed as well for that matter, but they are less likely to be incubators for disease) likely want to hug them all the time. Not only what you said but they have to meet people all the time, they just get a lot of chances to meet people who may bring a cold with them.

Don't forget the fumes from the Zamboni

I spend many hours a week in the rink and have for nearly all of my life. Fortunately my main rink is state of the art and I've been told they have clean running machines, air circulation, and air quality detectors. Some of the older rinks aren't as lucky and the carbon monoxide can a real issue and terribly bad for you.

Was this reported here?

SP to "Black Magic Woman" by Santana
FS to "Romeo and Juliet" by Prokofiev
