Ok, so the Russian commentators talked so much only because Elena Glebova had to leave very soon, so he asked her some questions about the skating situation in Estonia, what she's been up to (she's a coach now), what kind of programs she likes, etc. There'll be probably be less talking now that she's gone (unless someone else joins in)

I do wonder what Fournier and Beaudry need to do. It seems they have been stuck at 13th in the world for forever now. I think they are in love though so will continue competing together a long time.

But to be fair, from what i saw in SD and for now, i think it was a very well judged competition... No bias etc...

If it makes you people who feel punished with Snooker we have about 10 hours of taped coverage of worlds here on TV and about a 100 hours of the World Curling championships that will all be live.

They actually do pretty consistently hit their levels to at least level 3, so what I would try if I were them is to develop a style of their own. Take some risks, don't just stay stuck in the Montreal lovey dovey mode. Quite honestly, so many couples do that now, and do it BETTER than F/B, that to break through I really think they need to get away from that and try something else.
Unfortunately, since they train in Montreal where only one kind of program is ever created, I think this is unlikely.

Not only that, but in the CBC TV universe in ladies Carolina Kostner skated before Mai Mihara. And they left out Maria Stotskova but showed Anna P. Makes me wonder how much creative editing they've done over the years that I missed.

None of these teams so far have really impressed me. But the pcs seem really high. The main criticism I have is that there is not enoough room to diffentiate P/C and V and M from the rest and I htink V and M should be a couple of points ahead of the French who should be a point or two ahead of B/S; Weapo and the shibs sibs who should be ahead of Chock and bates and h/D but there is no room when third tier teams are already over 8pts on each pcs segment..

And they wont leave Montreal. They love it there, and they love Romain, Patrice, Marie France. So yeah they are in a tough spot.

The Shibs were overscored in the SD considering their missed levels, held up in PCS undeservedly, and should be in 6th or 7th now. They are honored and lucky to be skating in the final flight where in reality W&P or even C&L should be instead of them.

As much as I like B/S and think C/L are really good at what they do I really, really want G/P to move up and W/P to at least stay where they are.
I'm not a big fan of B/S's music edit in this FD but I still like them.

Sad to see Anna's keeping the black and white dress. Yeah, it fits the program better, but the maroon one got the point across well enough and presented her better
